Who we are
Aidoqo (“Aidoqo”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in the Republic of Zimbabwe under registration number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER], with its registered office at 216 Samora Machel, Eastlea, Harare, Zimbabwe.
We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Questions about this policy can be sent to inquiries@aidoqo.com.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to operate this site:
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, organisation, topic and message you submit through our contact form.
- Newsletter details — the email address you provide if you subscribe to our updates.
- Job applications — the CV, contact details and any supporting information you send when applying for a role.
- Technical data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type and pages requested, retained for security and diagnostics.
How we use it
Enquiry information is used to reply to you and, where a working relationship follows, to deliver and support that work. Newsletter subscriptions are used only to send the updates you asked for. Application materials are used to assess your application.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use what you send us to train machine learning models.
Legal basis
Where required by applicable law, we rely on your consent for marketing communications, on the performance of a contract for client work, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and keeping our systems secure.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] from your last contact with us. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Application materials are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 12 months] unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Server logs are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 90 days].
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — for example our hosting and email providers — and only to the extent needed to provide that service. Those providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Client data
Where Aidoqo processes personal data inside a client’s systems during an engagement, we act as a processor on that client’s instructions under a separate written agreement. This policy governs our own site and business contacts, not that processing.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these rights, contact inquiries@aidoqo.com.
Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary to function. We store a small flag in your browser to remember that you have dismissed or completed the newsletter prompt, so that it is not shown to you repeatedly. That flag stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
[If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, list them here and add a consent banner before they load.]
Security
We apply the same engineering standards to our own systems that we apply to client work — access control, encryption in transit and a limited number of people with access to enquiry data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers.
